In-Residence invites guests to an evening of creativity and colour at their store in Islington Square on Saturday 24th October. In collaboration with award-winning fashion illustrator and live event artist Tracey Smith, this exclusive workshop invites guests to explore the art of fashion portraiture through the expressive medium of watercolour.
Guided by Tracey, attendees will learn to bring expressive fashion portraits to life — from mastering proportions and composition to experimenting with fluid brushwork and the wet-on-wet technique.
Over the course of two hours, participants will:
Discover the principles and science behind painting portraits with watercolours
Enhance their understanding of composition and proportion
Explore creative brush techniques to create four original illustrations
Use a curated selection of brushes, inks and materials - all provided on the day
Each guest will take home their completed fashion illustrations, along with a newfound appreciation for the artistry behind fashion illustration.
The session will be complemented by Prosecco, tea and coffee, and attendees will enjoy an exclusive 10% discount in store following the workshop.
