Article has reintroduced itself as Benchmark, now open at Islington Square. Familiar to many in the local community, the same much-loved space now enters a new chapter with a fresh identity and an even bigger focus on sport, community and performance.
Created by athletes, Benchmark is built on a simple belief: the right gear shapes how you perform. The rebrand goes beyond a new name, bringing together premium cycling and running brands, expert advice and a welcoming space.
Inside the flagship store, you’ll find a carefully curated mix of leading performance brands across cycling and running, alongside opportunities to test new products and discover the latest releases.
But what sets Benchmark apart is what happens beyond the shop floor. From early morning rides and group runs to product launches and community-led sessions, the space is designed to bring people together. Whether you’re training towards something specific or simply looking to move more.
Benchmark’s growing Strava club builds on this, offering a way to stay connected, join regular sessions, meet like-minded people and be part of a wider network.
There’s also a café on-site, offering a place to refuel, reset, or spend time before and after sessions.
